Leigh Belz Ray is a creative and copy executive based in New York City.
She is the Editor-in-Chief of Reader’s Digest. Previously, she was the founding editor of Instagram’s @shop and was the head of Shopping Editorial across the company from 2019 through 2023 before spending two years as a lead on Meta’s AI Content Engineering team. Prior to her work in the tech field, she was the Executive Director of Branded Content for Vogue and GQ and worked as an editor and writer at InStyle, ELLE, Teen Vogue, People StyleWatch, Lucky, LuckyShops.com, and Glamour.com. Her writing has also been featured in projects with The Atlantic’s Re:think, Billboard, Allure, ADWEEK, Premiere, CREEM, Paddle8, Time Out New York, L’OFFICIEL, SELF, Ladies Home Journal, Brides, Anyway and Q magazine.
